Kristen Muhammadiyah; Konvergensi Islam dan Kristen dalam Pendidikan
 Pusat Studi Agama dan Peradaban (PSAP) bekerjasama dengan Al-Wasath Publishing mengadakan launching buku tulisan Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed (Mantan Ketua Umum PP Muhammadiyah) dan Fazar Riza Ul Haq, M.Si (Diirektur Program Maarif Institute) dengan judul Kristen Muhammadiyah; Konvergensi Islam dan Kristen dalam Pendidikan. acara ini diselenggaran Auditerium PP Muhammadiyah Jl. Menteng Raya No.62. pada tanggal 10 Agustus 2009.
Acra tersebut dihadiri sekitar 200 undangan dari berbagai latar belakang. turut hadir juga para tokoh yang ikut memberikan testimoni, diantaranya, Prof. Dr. A. Malik Fadjar, Prof. Dr. Suyanto, Prof. Dr. Bambang Pranowo, Theopius Bella, Pendeta J. Victor Rambath dan M Izzul Muslimin.

These days, terrorism is usually related to religion, more precisely Islam. Such perceptions are difficult to deny because terrorists like Osama bin Laden and Noordin M. Top cite verses of the Koran in justifying their acts. Some experts also state that the misinterpretation of religious text can provide the background for terrorism. For example, Abu Bakar Ba’asyir and his students at the Ngruki pesantren often say that their first obligation as Muslims is to preach and promote Islam to others. |
